We are honored to share that Stratus Surfaces received the Objects of Desire – Stone award at the 2026 Austin Home & Design Awards. This recognition is especially meaningful because it celebrates the craftsmanship, creativity, and collaboration that define our industry. Every project is the result of talented designers, architects, builders, fabricators, and clients working together to create exceptional spaces, and we are grateful to play a role in bringing those visions to life.
In addition to receiving this award, Stratus Surfaces was proud to serve as the Legacy Award Sponsor for this year’s event. To commemorate the occasion, we partnered with Hart Stone to create a custom Legacy Award crafted from our stunning Emerald Lagoon Quartzite. Seeing this one-of-a-kind piece presented during the ceremony was a special moment and a reflection of the artistry that makes our industry so unique. We extend our congratulations to Mell Lawrence, recipient of the 2026 Legacy Award. This well-deserved honor recognizes a lifetime of contributions to architecture and design, and we were proud to help celebrate his remarkable impact on the Austin community.
