Why Stratus Surfaces?

Stratus Surfaces combines local expertise and a variety of beautiful natural stone, quartz, and porcelain slabs for elegant countertop solutions.

What products do you offer? 

Stratus Surfaces has three unique product lines: Natural Stone, Porcelain, and StratusQuartz®.

Where can I see your inventory? 

You can view our inventory online, or visit one of our showrooms in Seattle, Austin, Oklahoma City, or Kent. 

Does Stratus Surfaces offer installation?

No. Stratus Surfaces is a wholesale distributor that sells directly to fabricators and contractors who will then install your slab.

Natural Stone

What types of natural stone does Stratus Surfaces offer?

Our vast collection of natural stone slabs includes granite, marble, quartzite, and soapstone.

Where do your stones come from?

Our collection includes stones from Italy, India, Brazil, South Africa and many other countries.

StratusQuartz®

What makes StratusQuartz® different from natural stone?  StratusQuartz® combines the beauty of natural stone with increased strength and durability while reducing the amount of necessary maintenance.  StratusQuartz® also offers colors and designs that are not found in natural stone. 
What is the price difference between StratusQuartz® and natural stone? Natural stones have a much wider price range when compared to StratusQuartz®.
Does StratusQuartz® stain? StratusQuartz® resists stains as it has very low water absorption properties.  It does not need to be sealed.
Can I put hot pans directly on my StratusQuartz® countertop? StratusQuartz® is heat resistant, but we recommend using trivets at very high temperatures to avoid damage.
Can I cut directly on my StratusQuartz® countertop? StratusQuartz® is scratch resistant, though we recommend using cutting boards to preserve your surface and knives.

What makes Enigma Surfaces different from natural stone? 

Enigma Surfaces is made from a proprietary blend of minerals to create a surface with increased durability and timeless beauty.

What is the price difference between Enigma Surfaces and natural stone?

Natural stone has a much wider price range than Enigma Surfaces.

Does Enigma Surfaces stain?
